Families First Coronavirus Response Act of 2020: Keys to Compliance

Families First Coronavirus Response Act of 2020: Keys to Compliance

On March 18, 2020, the Families First Coronavirus Response Act of 2020 (“FFCRA”) was signed into law. It encompasses a number of compliance challenges for employers, including the first ever federal law mandating that private sector companies provide limited paid sick time and paid family and medical leave.

The key to compliance with the law, and thereby controlling costs associated with that compliance to the greatest extent possible, is making the appropriate configurations in your Human Capital Management Suite – particularly HRIS, Payroll and Time (Workforce Management). Attend this webinar and learn, in detail, about the challenges and the solutions.

What you will learn

  • The challenges presented by this unprecedented health crisis
  • The specific details of the FFCRA, focusing on those impacting employers
  • The details of mandatory Public Health Emergency Leave and Emergency Paid Sick Leave
  • Coordination of leave entitlements at the federal and state levels, with existing employer leave policies
  • Ensuring that every available penny of tax credit is fully accounted for
  • What to expect of your HCM Suite provider in supporting this new law
